Caspari, Inc. is a respected publisher of exquisitely designed and printed paper products, with a reputation earned over the past seventy years by reproducing the work of established artists and museums from around the world. We are currently looking for someone to help guide the redesign of our desktop and mobile websites; manage SEO, social media and e-mail marketing; coordinate efforts to streamline back-end development; hire and supervise user experience designers and software engineers; conduct/manage user research and analytics; and define/implement the strategic vision for all digital marketing channels. .

 

Caspari’s Design, Sales, and Marketing offices are located in Charlottesville, Virginia, and we work closely with our US retail flagship store in downtown Charlottesville to define and present the ultimate vision of the brand. The website should reflect this vision in a manner that is easily understandable by the online consumer. We require someone to ensure consistent brand messaging, translating offline, in-store concepts to digital channels and develop a seamless customer experience between offline and online.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of both back and front end web development. We are looking for someone to oversee the redesign and implementation of a new website and hire and manage back end developers accordingly while working closely with the visual merchandising and Design teams to marry the store concepts with the website.

In this role you will:

  • Manage the merchandising of products and categories on the company website.
  • Maintain the integrity and presentation of the products through the e-commerce channel
  • Review and analyze internet sites regularly to ensure accuracy and make recommendations on product placement, current vs. past season product, application images, brand logo and strategy, and overall brand placement
  • Manage company website merchandising and search experience to support sales optimization efforts and customer acquisition and transaction goals.
  • Continuously identify new ways to develop, implement, and support on –site merchandising and marketing strategies.
  • Oversee Caspari’s social media presence to ensure consistency and engaging, on-brand content.
  • Oversee the timely implementation of all website content on both back and front ends, managing the team members who handle both sides to meet product launch deadlines and keep brand message on point.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, E-Commerce, Merchandising, or Business.
  • Must have exposure and knowledge of product positioning, e-commerce marketing, and brand strategy.
  • Have knowledge of web user interface design, web graphic design and knowledge of interactive marketing, and be proficient in MS Office.
  • Have proven experience with SEO, web analytics, PPC/Adword management, social media.
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS preferred.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

eCOMMERCE OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE

OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for an e-Commerce Operations Associate to assist with our retail website.

POSITION SUMMARY

In this role you will be responsible for the timely and accurate update of products to casparionline.com. You will work closely with our retail store in downtown Charlottesville, VA as well as Caspari’s Design, Sales, and Marketing main office to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels and to convey the look and feel of our flagship store through the e-Commerce website.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES

Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;

  • Ensure data integrity for large volume of SKUs
  • Deactivate closed SKUs
  • Ensure SKUs are aligned with appropriate product, description and pricing
  • Work with internal colleagues to support E-Commerce initiative
  • Handle large volume data entry with accuracy
  • Support web based editing
  • Continually monitor, analyze and report on web sales 
  • Assist with testing on sorting, banners, and content assets to improve conversion rate and average order value.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to promote best sellers and move high inventory products inclusive of clearance.
  • Analyze email campaigns and report data.
  • Set-up new product introductions on websites, including categorization of and importing items, defining attributes, loading pricing, product images and videos.
  • Create product sets, product collections, product attributes, and assist with product cross- sells, in order to positively impact conversion rate and improve average order.
  • Update product specifications when requests for changes are given by Merchandising or Customer Service.
  • Maintain discontinued products across all sites to ensure accuracy and provide updates for search.
