Founded in 1831 by Jean-Baptiste Deyrolle, the Parisian boutique has been located at 46 rue du Bac (the former home of Louis XIV’s banker) since 1888. With a passion for natural history, Deyrolle reveals itself far more a cabinet of curiosities and exotic environments than a simple boutique.

Now owned and operated by Prince Louis Albert de Broglie, Deyrolle houses fantastic collections of “curiosities” such as, stuffed animals in impressionistic settings, sumptuous collections of butterflies, insects, minerals and fossils as well as re-issues of famous antique maps and charts. The boutique Deyrolle has intrigued Parisians and international visitors alike for many years, delighting them with an amusing combination of science, history and fantasy.

Caspari partnered with Deyrolle in 2005 to produce napkins, plates, invitations and place cards showcasing their unique and exquisite collections.
