The original rhinoceros was crafted by Dimitri Omersa in the late 1950s and introduced to Liberty’s of London for distribution. Its instant popularity quickly transformed the rhinoceros into the iconic symbol of the Omersa brand. This desktop/mantelpiece version of the leather rhinoceros was introduced to the range in the early 1990’s.

Crafted from premium top grain “unfinished” cowhide leather, these animals naturally acquire scuff marks over time, showcasing the character gained from everyday use.
